Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on currency conversion and language selection to facilitate international sales, especially those already leveraging Shopify Markets or intending to do so, Webrex ‑ Currency Converter is the clear choice, given its positive reviews and comprehensive feature set. The app's seamless integration with Shopify Payments and its focus on usability and customization make it a strong contender.
However, if a merchant's priority is to control access to specific pages based on user location, direct users to regionalized content, and analyze user distributions by country, Fokkio: Geo Redirect & Block may be worth considering, although the lack of reviews presents a significant risk. Merchants should proceed with caution and perhaps explore alternative apps with established track records unless Fokkio gains user feedback and demonstrates its reliability.
