Fordeer: PreOrder Now PreSale vs Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counterfor Shopify (2026)
Fordeer: PreOrder Now PreSale and Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter both address inventory management for Shopify stores, but they target different stages of the customer journey and offer distinct functionalities. Fordeer focuses on capturing sales even when products are temporarily unavailable by enabling pre-orders and pre-sales. In contrast, Hey!Scarcity leverages urgency and scarcity principles by displaying real-time stock levels and countdown timers to encourage immediate purchases. While Fordeer aims to retain potential customers during out-of-stock situations, Hey!Scarcity seeks to convert window shoppers into buyers by highlighting limited availability. Hey!Scarcity seems to be favored by merchants looking for easy to use scarcity based widget to increase conversion rate. On the other hand, it is unclear what is the primary function of Fordeer. While pre-ordering is useful, we don't know if it the tool is robust enough to handle complex pre-ordering requirements. Merchant should explore both options to find the one that matches their needs.

Our Verdict
Hey!Scarcity Low Stock Counter is the better choice for merchants looking for a straightforward solution to boost conversions by creating a sense of urgency and scarcity around their products. Its higher number of reviews and perfect rating suggest broader satisfaction and reliability. It's particularly well-suited for stores with fluctuating inventory or products that are genuinely in limited supply.
Fordeer: PreOrder Now PreSale might be valuable for merchants with products that frequently go out of stock and who want to continue accepting orders during those periods. However, the limited number of reviews makes it difficult to assess its reliability and features compared to Hey!Scarcity. Merchants needing a robust pre-ordering system should do more research or seek alternatives.
