Form Builder by Arctic Grey vs Section Star: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
Form Builder by Arctic Grey and Section Star: Theme Sections, while both residing in the 'Page builder' category on Shopify, target significantly different needs for Shopify merchants in 2026. Form Builder by Arctic Grey focuses on enabling merchants to create custom forms such as contact forms, order forms, and surveys with a drag-and-drop interface requiring minimal coding. Its value proposition lies in empowering merchants to improve customer loyalty and drive business growth through tailored form creation. In contrast, Section Star: Theme Sections is designed to enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of a Shopify store by providing pre-designed theme sections that can be easily customized. Section Star appeals to merchants seeking a professionally designed theme without incurring the cost of hiring freelancers. Its strength lies in offering ready-to-go sections like slideshows and countdown timers, enabling merchants to quickly elevate their store's design and potentially boost sales. The deep customization options allow for brand alignment, and the app's commitment to speed and quality metrics makes it a more compelling choice compared to Form Builder, which suffers from a very low number of reviews and a mediocre rating suggesting potential reliability issues.

Our Verdict
Section Star: Theme Sections is the stronger choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026 looking to quickly improve the look and feel of their store. The app's high rating, substantial number of reviews, and promise of beautiful, customizable sections with no coding required make it a more reliable and effective solution for aesthetic enhancements. The direct developer support is also a significant advantage.
Form Builder by Arctic Grey might be considered only by merchants with a very specific need for custom forms and who are comfortable taking a risk on an app with very few reviews and a lower rating. If custom forms are absolutely essential and a merchant is willing to potentially troubleshoot, it *could* be worth exploring, but alternative form-building apps with better reputations should be investigated first.
