Formester ‑ Form Builder vs Madgic Order COD Form & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Formester ‑ Form Builder and Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell both aim to enhance form functionality on Shopify stores, but they cater to distinctly different needs and user profiles. Formester, with no ratings or reviews, represents an unproven option, potentially suitable for merchants seeking basic form creation with the understanding that they'll be early adopters. On the other hand, Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell targets merchants heavily reliant on Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, offering a specialized checkout experience optimized for COD orders. Its features focus on streamlining COD processes, reducing abandoned carts, and increasing revenue through partial payments and COD fees. Madgic differentiates itself through features tailored specifically for COD, such as partial payment options, COD fee implementation, abandoned cart recovery, and direct integration with marketing pixels. These features cater to a niche market focused on optimizing their COD order process. Formester, lacking reviews and specific feature descriptions, presents itself as a generic form builder. The current data strongly suggests Madgic is further along in development, integration, and user acceptance. The ultimate choice between the two depends entirely on a merchant's specific needs: broad form creation versus optimized COD checkout.

Our Verdict
Given the data available in 2026, Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell appears to be the stronger choice for merchants who heavily rely on Cash on Delivery as a payment method. Its high rating and positive reviews, coupled with COD-specific features like partial payments and abandoned cart recovery, suggest a well-developed and valuable solution for its target audience. Formester, on the other hand, is an unproven option at this point.
