Formful – Contact Form Builder vs Pify Contact Form Builderfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants seeking a contact form builder face a stark choice between Formful – Contact Form Builder and Pify Contact Form Builder. Formful, with a rating of 4.7/5 based on 83 reviews, appears to be a reputable option with satisfied users. Pify Contact Form Builder, however, presents a significant risk. Despite accumulating a considerable 502 reviews, it currently has a rating of 0/5, signaling widespread dissatisfaction and potential issues. This rating discrepancy should be a primary concern for any merchant considering these two apps. The large number of reviews for Pify, despite the terrible rating, suggests it may have been aggressively marketed or perhaps has a free tier, attracting a large user base who ultimately find it unusable. Given the data available, Formful likely caters to merchants who prioritize reliability, positive user experience, and a proven track record. Their target audience may be smaller merchants or those willing to pay for a more polished and functional app. Pify, on the other hand, might appeal to merchants operating under extremely tight budgets or those who are willing to risk potential problems in exchange for potentially lower costs or a feature set not readily available in Formful. However, the 0/5 rating is a major red flag that should prompt considerable caution. Merchants would be well advised to explore other alternatives before committing to Pify.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Formful – Contact Form Builder is the strongly recommended choice for most Shopify merchants. The 4.7/5 rating and 83 reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly app. The 0/5 rating for Pify Contact Form Builder, despite having a large number of reviews, indicates significant problems and potential unreliability. Pify should only be considered by merchants who are fully aware of the risks and have a strong technical background to troubleshoot any issues.
For merchants who prioritize a stable and well-regarded contact form solution, Formful offers a much safer and potentially more cost-effective long-term investment. Pify may present a tempting option for merchants on a very tight budget, but the zero rating is a huge warning sign and warrants extreme caution and thorough investigation, including looking at the negative reviews for specifics. If at all possible, seek alternatives to Pify.
