Formify ‑ Dynamic Forms vs Section Star: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)

Formify ‑ Dynamic Forms and Section Star: Theme Sections both operate within the 'Design elements - Other' category on the Shopify app store, but cater to very different needs. Section Star focuses on enhancing theme design through pre-built, customizable sections aimed at merchants seeking professional-looking stores without the cost of hiring developers. It boasts a strong reputation with a perfect 5/5 rating based on 76 reviews, highlighting ease of use and ready-to-go design elements. In contrast, Formify ‑ Dynamic Forms has no ratings or reviews, suggesting it is either a very new app or one that has not resonated with users. Its purpose, based solely on its name, likely involves creating customized forms, which is distinct from theme section design. Section Star targets merchants who want to quickly improve the visual appeal of their store and boost sales using pre-designed sections such as slideshows, countdown timers, and scrolling banners. The app explicitly mentions no coding required and direct developer support, which is a strong selling point for non-technical users. Formify, with its lack of reviews and focus on dynamic forms, likely appeals to merchants prioritizing advanced form customization and data collection. However, the absence of user feedback makes it difficult to assess its functionality and suitability for general use compared to Section Star, which has a proven track record, based on the number of positive reviews.
