Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent vs Fraudify: Fraud Controlfor Shopify (2026)
Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent and Fraudify: Fraud Control both aim to help Shopify merchants combat fraud, but they take significantly different approaches. Fraud Falcon positions itself as a comprehensive, proactive fraud prevention solution. It empowers merchants to build custom rules that automatically block or flag suspicious orders based on various criteria, including risk level, email type, and IP address. It also offers a setup wizard to suggest tailored fraud rules. Fraudify, on the other hand, focuses on immediate notification. It scans orders based on Shopify's internal risk assessments and alerts merchants via email or text when potential fraud is detected, relying on merchants to then manually take action. The primary difference lies in the level of automation and control offered. Fraud Falcon provides automation and allows for proactive prevention, targeting merchants seeking a hands-on approach to managing fraud rules and wanting to automate actions like canceling orders. Fraudify is more passive, offering alerts based on Shopify's fraud risk assessment, better suited for merchants who prefer manual review and intervention. Fraud Falcon's higher rating and customer reviews suggest it is a more mature and tested app. It enables actions such as automatic refunds and restocks, providing a more comprehensive solution compared to Fraudify's sole focus on notifications.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking for a hands-off approach and proactive fraud prevention, Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent is the clear choice. Its ability to automatically block or hold suspicious orders, combined with its setup wizard and allowlisting feature, makes it a robust solution for larger stores or those with a high volume of fraudulent activity. The positive rating and reviews further support its effectiveness.
Fraudify: Fraud Control is better suited for smaller stores or those with a lower fraud risk tolerance who prefer to manually review and handle suspicious orders. While the lack of reviews is concerning, the app's simplicity and immediate notification system could be appealing to merchants who want to stay informed without investing significant time in configuring complex rules. However, given the absence of customer feedback and the proactive nature of Fraud Falcon, Fraud Falcon is generally the stronger recommendation unless a merchant *specifically* wants ONLY alerts.
