Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent vs Monitrees ‑ 24/7 AI Monitoringfor Shopify (2026)
Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent positions itself as a user-friendly, rules-based fraud prevention app, offering merchants direct control over fraud filters with actions like order cancellation, auto-refunds, and restocks. It focuses on preventing chargebacks and protecting revenue by allowing merchants to block risky orders based on criteria like Shopify risk level, disposable emails, and IP addresses. The app includes a setup wizard to suggest tailored fraud rules. Monitrees ‑ 24/7 AI Monitoring, on the other hand, advertises continuous AI-powered monitoring, implying a more hands-off approach to fraud prevention. However, with no ratings or reviews, and a lack of detailed feature information beyond staff notifications, its actual capabilities and target audience remain unclear. The primary difference lies in the level of control and transparency offered. Fraud Falcon gives merchants granular control over their fraud prevention strategy, while Monitrees implies automated, AI-driven fraud detection. Without further information about Monitrees, it's difficult to determine its specific strengths or target audience beyond potentially larger stores that can afford automated monitoring. Fraud Falcon targets merchants of all sizes who want to actively manage and customize their fraud prevention rules.

It's especially useful for stores experiencing frequent chargebacks or wanting to proactively protect their revenue.
Monitrees ‑ 24/7 AI Monitoring, while potentially promising with its AI-driven approach, lacks sufficient information and user validation (no ratings or reviews) to be confidently recommended. Merchants considering Monitrees should proceed with caution and seek more information about its capabilities and effectiveness before committing.
