Our Verdict
The choice between Fraud Falcon and Ping depends entirely on the merchant's needs. Merchants struggling with fraudulent orders and seeking a proactive fraud prevention solution should strongly consider Fraud Falcon. Its setup wizard and rule-based system offer a targeted approach to mitigating fraud risks. Conversely, merchants prioritizing team communication and wanting to stay informed about store activities in real-time would benefit from Ping. Its Slack integration keeps teams in sync and ensures timely responses to important store events. Because Ping currently has zero reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and perhaps investigate similar apps with established positive reviews.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Fraud Falcon likely offers an easier initial setup with its setup wizard that analyzes your store and suggests tailored fraud rules. Ping requires manual configuration of event triggers, although it provides pre-made templates.
Which app is better for a small store with limited staff?
Fraud Falcon might be more beneficial for a small store lacking dedicated staff to constantly monitor orders. Its automated fraud prevention can protect revenue without requiring constant manual oversight. Ping, on the other hand, benefits larger teams who are actively using Slack.
Which app addresses the issue of chargebacks?
Fraud Falcon directly addresses chargebacks by preventing fraudulent orders from being processed in the first place. It allows merchants to block risky orders, potentially avoiding chargebacks altogether. Ping does not directly address chargebacks.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, both apps can be used together. Fraud Falcon protects your store from fraud, while Ping keeps your team informed about important store events, including potentially fraudulent orders detected by Fraud Falcon, allowing them to manually review held orders.
What kind of support do these apps offer?
