Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent vs TFM Expressfor Shopify (2026)
Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent and TFM Express are Shopify apps serving vastly different purposes. Fraud Falcon targets merchants looking to reduce chargebacks and prevent fraudulent orders. It offers a rules-based system to automatically block or flag suspicious orders based on various criteria like risk score, email type, and IP address. Its strength lies in its fraud prevention capabilities and customizable actions like cancellation, refunds, and alerts. The target audience is any Shopify merchant concerned about fraud and looking for an automated solution. In contrast, TFM Express is a specialized app designed for merchants already using the TFM (presumably a logistics or shipping management) system. It streamlines shipment creation and order tracking within that specific TFM ecosystem. Its focus is on simplifying order fulfillment and providing shipment status updates for TFM customers. The crucial difference lies in their functionalities. Fraud Falcon protects revenue by preventing fraud, while TFM Express facilitates order fulfillment for merchants using a specific logistics provider. Fraud Falcon boasts a setup wizard and allowlisting features, making it potentially easier to configure and manage. TFM Express, on the other hand, requires integration with the TFM system to be useful. While both apps are in the 'Staff notifications' category, their notification types are fundamentally different. Fraud Falcon uses them for fraud alerts; TFM Express likely uses them for shipment updates.

Our Verdict
The choice between Fraud Falcon ‑ Block & Prevent and TFM Express is highly dependent on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is struggling with fraudulent orders and chargebacks, Fraud Falcon is the clear choice. Its fraud prevention features, setup wizard, and customizable rules offer a comprehensive solution. However, if a merchant is already using the TFM system for logistics and needs a way to streamline shipment creation and order tracking within that system, TFM Express is the appropriate solution, assuming the app functions as intended despite the lack of reviews. For the majority of Shopify merchants not using TFM, Fraud Falcon offers a more broadly applicable and immediately beneficial solution.
