Our Verdict
FraudBlock is best suited for smaller merchants who prioritize simplicity and a completely hands-off approach to fraud prevention, trusting Shopify's initial risk assessment. Its automated cancellation and refund process minimizes effort. However, merchants should be aware that automatically cancelling orders could potentially impact legitimate customers if Shopify's fraud analysis isn't perfect.
NoFraud, on the other hand, is better for larger or growing businesses that need a more robust and customizable fraud prevention system. The combination of AI and human review offers a higher level of accuracy and flexibility, and the chargeback guarantee can provide added peace of mind. The added dispute representment feature also makes it a valuable asset for protecting revenue. The trade-off is that it requires more initial setup and potentially more ongoing monitoring.
