Our Verdict
Happy Birthday Emails by UW is the clear choice for merchants seeking a reliable and automated solution for boosting customer loyalty and repeat purchases. The app's perfect 5/5 rating from 141 reviews indicates strong user satisfaction and effective performance. It provides a hands-off approach to personalized marketing, creating opportunities for increased sales with minimal effort. Free Gift Contest Popup, with its 0/5 rating and zero reviews, presents a risky option. While the concept of product contests is appealing, the lack of social proof makes it difficult to recommend confidently.
For a store prioritizing rapid email list growth and experimenting with contests, Free Gift Contest Popup *might* be considered *if* significant research is done beforehand and they're comfortable with a potentially buggy or unsupported app. However, Happy Birthday Emails by UW is the stronger option for the vast majority of Shopify merchants looking to build lasting customer relationships and drive sustainable growth. The established positive track record makes it the better investment.
