Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on building their email list, particularly if they lack a robust email marketing strategy, Free Gift Contest Popup might be a worthwhile consideration. However, the lack of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and functionality. Merchants in the cosmetics, healthcare, food supplement, pet product, and FMCG industries looking to boost AOV, reduce reliance on discounts, and encourage product discovery would likely find Sample Products ‑‑ Try N Buy more effective.
Given the absence of reviews for Free Gift Contest Popup and the perfect rating with several reviews for Sample Products ‑‑ Try N Buy, the latter currently appears to be the more reliable and effective choice, especially for its target industries. New merchants should carefully consider the lack of social proof for the contest popup app and weigh that heavily in their decision-making process.
