Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist vs Loox ‑ Visual Product Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist and Loox ‑ Visual Product Reviews both aim to enhance a Shopify store's appeal to customers, but they approach it from different angles. Froonze focuses on building a comprehensive loyalty program and wishlist functionality directly integrated into the customer account, aiming to increase customer retention and repeat purchases. Features like VIP tiers, referral programs, and native Shopify store credit integration for cashback programs make it a robust solution for loyalty. It also offers migration support from popular loyalty apps. Loox, on the other hand, prioritizes social proof through visual product reviews (photos and videos) to build trust and drive sales. Its strength lies in collecting and displaying high-quality, user-generated content to influence purchasing decisions. The choice between the two depends heavily on the merchant's priorities. If the primary goal is to establish a sophisticated loyalty system with multiple reward mechanisms, Froonze is the better option. If the focus is on leveraging user-generated content to showcase product quality and build immediate trust, then Loox is the more appropriate solution. Both apps offer features that indirectly boost customer lifetime value but through distinct mechanisms.

Our Verdict
For a merchant looking to build a comprehensive loyalty program with various incentives and customer engagement features, Froonze is the better choice, especially if they are already using another loyalty app and want to migrate. However, for a merchant whose priority is to increase conversions by showcasing positive customer experiences through visually appealing photo and video reviews, Loox is the superior option. Loox's focus on social proof can provide a more immediate impact on sales. Larger stores, especially those selling visually appealing products, may benefit more from Loox. Smaller stores prioritizing customer retention via loyalty programs may prefer Froonze.
