Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist vs ShopBack Growth Toolsfor Shopify (2026)
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist and ShopBack Growth Tools are both listed under the Loyalty and rewards category on the Shopify app store, but they serve drastically different purposes and target different audiences. Froonze is a comprehensive loyalty program and wishlist app aimed at helping merchants boost sales by engaging customers with points, VIP tiers, referrals, and personalized shopping experiences. It offers a wide range of features including loyalty points, VIP tiers, a wishlist on all pages, store credit cashback, and customizable email notifications, making it a fully-featured option for merchants looking to implement or enhance their loyalty programs. In contrast, ShopBack Growth Tools is specifically designed for merchants who are already using or onboarding with ShopBack, a payments and marketing platform. The app acts as a bridge, providing easy access and management of ShopBack PayLater app settings and ShopBack marketing assets. Its core function is to streamline the integration and onboarding process with ShopBack, simplifying the steps for merchants to leverage ShopBack's payment and marketing capabilities directly from their Shopify store. The app prioritizes seamless integration with the ShopBack platform rather than building standalone loyalty features.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a robust and feature-rich loyalty program and wishlist functionality, Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is the clear choice. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, and extensive feature set make it a compelling option for boosting sales and engaging customers. It's a solid choice for merchants wanting to build an independent loyalty program.
ShopBack Growth Tools, on the other hand, is only relevant to merchants who are already committed to using the ShopBack platform. It serves a very specific purpose of facilitating integration and management of ShopBack's payment and marketing tools. Without a pre-existing or planned ShopBack relationship, this app offers no value.
