Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist vs Smart Wishlist APPfor Shopify (2026)
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist and Smart Wishlist APP offer distinct approaches to wishlist functionality on Shopify. Froonze positions itself as a comprehensive loyalty and wishlist solution aimed at boosting sales through integrated features like loyalty points, VIP tiers, referrals, and store credit cashback. Its target audience appears to be merchants seeking a robust, feature-rich program to enhance customer engagement and retention, complete with integrations to native Shopify store credit, POS systems, and advanced features like custom forms and enhanced customer dashboards (paid separately). Smart Wishlist APP, on the other hand, focuses solely on basic wishlist functionality, emphasizing UI customization and enabling/disabling options for both logged-in and guest users. The primary difference lies in the scope and maturity of each app. Froonze offers a multi-faceted approach to loyalty and engagement with extensive features and proven performance, indicated by its 5/5 rating based on 213 reviews. It appeals to merchants willing to invest in a comprehensive solution and its associated costs. Smart Wishlist APP provides a simpler, more lightweight option, likely targeting merchants who only require basic wishlist functionality and prioritizing UI customization. Its lack of reviews or ratings, however, suggests it's either very new or hasn't garnered significant user adoption yet, making it a riskier choice compared to the established Froonze app.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking for a robust, all-in-one loyalty and wishlist solution to drive sales and improve customer retention, Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is the clear choice. Its established user base, high rating, and comprehensive feature set make it a more reliable and valuable investment, especially for stores already using Shopify's native store credit. However, if a merchant's sole requirement is a basic wishlist with a strong emphasis on UI customization and guest user support, and they are willing to accept the risk of using an unproven app, Smart Wishlist APP might be considered.
Ultimately, the choice hinges on the merchant's needs and risk tolerance. Froonze offers a proven solution with a wide range of features, while Smart Wishlist APP offers simplicity and UI control but lacks evidence of effectiveness.
