Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist vs Smile: Loyalty Rewards Programfor Shopify (2026)
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist and Smile: Loyalty Rewards Program are both Shopify apps designed to boost sales through customer loyalty programs. Smile, with its established presence and high review count, positions itself as a comprehensive, customizable loyalty solution with deep integrations. Froonze, while newer based on review count, emphasizes ease of setup, a unified customer account experience including wishlist functionality, and flexible pricing based on usage rather than a flat subscription. Froonze also uniquely integrates natively with Shopify's Store Credit feature. Smile caters to a broader range of merchants seeking a fully branded and integrated loyalty experience across multiple channels. Froonze appears to target merchants looking for a streamlined approach, with a focus on essential loyalty features, wishlist functionality, and a unified customer account. Key differentiation lies in Froonze's inclusion of wishlist functionality, usage-based pricing, and native Shopify Store Credit integration. Smile boasts extensive integrations with marketing and support platforms, including Klaviyo, Judge.me, and Gorgias.

Our Verdict
Smile is likely the better choice for established businesses with a strong marketing focus looking for deep integrations and extensive customization options. Its wide range of features and robust analytics cater to larger merchants requiring comprehensive loyalty program management. Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is a more appealing option for startups or smaller businesses prioritizing ease of use, simplified pricing (based on orders, not a subscription), and the added benefit of wishlist functionality integrated within the customer account. If native Shopify Store Credit integration is crucial, Froonze has a distinct advantage.
