Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist vs Wholesale Simplifiedfor Shopify (2026)
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist and Wholesale Simplified cater to vastly different Shopify merchant needs, despite both technically residing under the 'Customer Loyalty' category. Froonze focuses on building customer loyalty through points, VIP tiers, referrals, wishlists, and store credit cashback, effectively targeting B2C merchants looking to increase customer retention and repeat purchases. Its comprehensive feature set, including loyalty POS integration, email alerts, and a customizable customer dashboard, aims to enhance the overall customer experience and drive sales. The larger number of reviews and perfect rating suggest a well-received app, however, deeper due diligence is always required. Wholesale Simplified, on the other hand, is explicitly designed for B2B businesses that require flexible wholesale pricing rules and customer group-based discounts. It's geared towards attracting and retaining wholesale buyers by offering customized pricing strategies and managing different discount rules for various customer segments. Its integration with apps like Orderbazi (bulk order form) and Optionify points to its focus on facilitating efficient wholesale order processing. Though it has a strong rating, the significantly fewer reviews may imply that it's either a newer app or serves a more niche market segment. The value proposition here is increasing B2B sales by offering custom discounts to bulk buyers.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants operating in a B2C environment and seeking to enhance customer loyalty and engagement through reward programs, wishlists, and a personalized customer experience, Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist is the clear choice. Its comprehensive feature set and focus on individual customer interactions make it well-suited for driving repeat purchases and increasing customer lifetime value. The app's high rating and significant number of reviews suggest a positive user experience.
In contrast, Wholesale Simplified is the better option for businesses engaged in B2B sales and requiring advanced wholesale pricing capabilities. Its ability to create unlimited discount rules, implement group-based pricing, and integrate with bulk order forms allows merchants to effectively manage and incentivize wholesale buyers. If your primary goal is to offer tailored pricing to different wholesale customer segments, Wholesale Simplified is the more appropriate solution. However, due to the lower review count, a careful review of user testimonials and support documentation is recommended prior to commitment.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Froonze VIP Loyalty & Wishlist claims a setup time of 'minutes' and boasts easy migration from other loyalty apps. Wholesale Simplified claims 'easy' ways to run promotions, but doesn't guarantee as quick of a setup.
Which app is better for a business with both B2C and B2B sales?
This is complicated, as neither addresses the hybrid directly. However, Froonze may be adaptable with some creativity via custom customer segments, but it's primary features aim at B2C engagement. Wholesale Simplified is focused on Wholesale, and B2B.
Which app provides more customer support options?
The provided data doesn't offer this level of detail. More research into their support pages and documentation is needed.
Does Wholesale Simplified offer a loyalty program like Froonze?
No, Wholesale Simplified focuses exclusively on wholesale discounts and pricing rules, not a broader loyalty program with points, referrals, or VIP tiers.
Can Froonze be used to offer wholesale discounts?
While Froonze offers VIP tiers and store credit, it's not explicitly designed for creating and managing complex wholesale pricing rules or group-based discounts like Wholesale Simplified. It is not the correct app to select if Wholesale is a business priority.
