Frykland ‑ Price History vs Singleton | Advanced Discountsfor Shopify (2026)

Frykland ‑ Price History focuses on EU Price Indication Directive compliance, displaying the lowest price from the past 30 days. Our Verdict
For merchants operating within the European Union or selling to EU customers and needing to comply with the EU Price Indication Directive, Frykland ‑ Price History is the clear choice. Its focus on displaying the lowest price from the past 30 days ensures transparent pricing and avoids potential legal issues. It's a relatively simple app with a specific function. However, for merchants seeking to implement a wide array of discounts and promotions to boost sales, Singleton | Advanced Discounts is the better option. Its ability to create various discount types, target specific customer segments, and display discounts across the cart and checkout process makes it a powerful tool for incentivizing purchases. If compliance isn't a primary concern, Singleton provides more flexibility and features for driving revenue.
