Fuze: COD Post Purchase Upsell vs Madgic Order COD Form & Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
Fuze: COD Post Purchase Upsell and Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell are both Shopify apps targeting Cash on Delivery (COD) sales, but they approach the problem from different angles. Fuze focuses on post-purchase optimization, aiming to increase Average Order Value (AOV) through upsells and cross-sells displayed after the initial purchase, on the Thank You page, and even in order confirmation emails. It also emphasizes building a partner network for increased traffic. Madgic, on the other hand, concentrates on streamlining the COD checkout process itself, providing customizable forms, partial payment options, abandoned cart recovery, and integration with marketing pixels. The key difference lies in the merchant's primary need. If a store already has a functional COD checkout but wants to boost AOV after the sale, Fuze is the more relevant choice. If the store struggles with COD checkout abandonment or seeks a more streamlined and feature-rich COD checkout experience, Madgic is the better option. Fuze also has significantly fewer reviews and a lower rating, suggesting it's either newer or has received less positive feedback than Madgic.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing AOV after the initial purchase and potentially interested in building a partner network, Fuze: COD Post Purchase Upsell presents a viable, though somewhat less proven, option. Its strength lies in post-purchase engagement through various funnels. However, the lower rating and fewer reviews should be considered.
Madgic Order COD Form & Upsell is the stronger choice for merchants whose priority is optimizing the COD checkout experience itself. Features like customizable forms, partial payments, and abandoned cart recovery directly address common pain points in COD transactions. The higher rating and more reviews further reinforce its effectiveness. Therefore, for improving COD conversion rates, Madgic is the more recommendable app.
