Fuze: COD Post Purchase Upsell vs Progus COD (Cash on Delivery)for Shopify (2026)
Fuze: COD Post Purchase Upsell and Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) both cater to Shopify merchants looking to leverage Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, but they approach the problem from different angles. Fuze focuses on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) and conversion rates through post-purchase upsells, cross-sells, and email funnels, in addition to COD-specific offers. It aims to enhance the overall shopping experience and build brand loyalty with features like A/B testing, surveys, and analytics. Progus COD, on the other hand, is specifically designed to optimize the COD checkout process and reduce failed deliveries. Its core strength lies in streamlining the COD order process with a 1-Click Order Form and providing granular control over COD availability based on various factors like location, order value, and customer tags. Progus's value proposition centers around simplifying COD for both the merchant and the customer while mitigating risks associated with COD payments. Progus is targeted for merchants wanting to use COD as a method to gain new customers, especially in regions or with customer groups that are skeptical of card payments. The built-in form and rules can reduce COD errors and fraud.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on maximizing AOV and building brand loyalty with COD customers, Fuze: COD Post Purchase Upsell offers a comprehensive solution through post-purchase funnels and upselling strategies. The A/B testing and analytics features allow for data-driven optimization of offers. However, the lower rating and limited reviews should be considered.
For merchants primarily concerned with streamlining the COD order process, minimizing risk associated with COD payments (failed deliveries, returns) and optimizing COD conversion rates, Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) is the better choice. Its 1-Click Order Form and smart visibility rules provide enhanced control and a smoother customer experience. The limited number of reviews does require caution when evaluating, however, a perfect rating can instill confidence. Ultimately, merchants should consider their specific needs and priorities when selecting between these two apps.
