Gang Sheet Pro vs LC File Upload, Image Uploadfor Shopify (2026)
Gang Sheet Pro and LC File Upload, Image Upload both operate in the custom file upload category for Shopify, but they cater to very different merchant needs. Gang Sheet Pro is explicitly tailored for DTF and screen-printing businesses, focusing on streamlining the creation of gang sheets for custom prints. Its core value proposition lies in simplifying the design and preparation of print-ready files by allowing customers to create designs using an intuitive layout tool. Conversely, LC File Upload, Image Upload takes a broader approach, aiming to empower any merchant who wants to allow customers to personalize their orders by uploading various file types, not just images for printing. LC File Upload, Image Upload focuses on facilitating personalized orders through generic file uploads. This means customers can upload any file type relevant to product customization. A key difference is that LC File Upload, Image Upload is targeted at a general audience of Shopify merchants needing file upload capabilities for product personalization, while Gang Sheet Pro targets a niche market within the print-on-demand sector. The contrasting user ratings also suggest that LC File Upload, Image Upload has been better received and used more successfully by merchants, though the limited data for Gang Sheet Pro means it could simply be a newer or less marketed app.

Our Verdict
For DTF and screen-printing businesses specifically looking to streamline the process of creating gang sheets and preparing print-ready files, Gang Sheet Pro seems to be the more targeted solution. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating raise concerns about its usability or effectiveness. Until those issues are addressed, merchants should proceed with caution and potentially seek alternatives that offer similar functionality with proven track records.
For Shopify merchants seeking a general file upload solution to allow customers to personalize orders with various file types, LC File Upload, Image Upload is the clear winner. Its 5/5 rating with 13 reviews suggests a positive user experience and effective implementation. Given the limited information available about Gang Sheet Pro, LC File Upload, Image Upload appears to be the safer and more reliable choice for most merchants needing file upload functionality.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a DTF printing business?
Ideally, Gang Sheet Pro is better tailored, but its lack of reviews makes it a risk. Evaluate carefully or look for alternatives with verified user feedback before committing. If the risk is too high, LC File Upload with very detailed product descriptions for how files will be used could be a workaround.
Which app offers more flexibility in file types accepted?
LC File Upload, Image Upload explicitly supports multiple file types (images, documents, etc.), offering wider flexibility for customer uploads compared to Gang Sheet Pro, which primarily focuses on images for printing.
Does Gang Sheet Pro handle non-image files?
Based on the description, Gang Sheet Pro primarily deals with image files intended for printing. There's no indication of support for other file types like documents or spreadsheets.
Are either of these apps free?
The provided data does not include pricing information. You'll need to check the Shopify App Store listings for each app to determine their pricing models.
Which app is likely easier to set up for general use?
LC File Upload, Image Upload is likely easier to set up for general use, as its target audience is broader. Gang Sheet Pro's specialization suggests a steeper learning curve or more specialized settings, but the lack of reviews makes it hard to tell for sure.
