Garnet Seller vs MP ‑ Store Migration & Importfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Garnet Seller and MP ‑ Store Migration & Import face a stark contrast. Garnet Seller, a companion app for the Garnet Marketplace, focuses on real-time synchronization of products, orders, and shipments to marketplaces. It positions itself as a seamless integration solution for merchants already using or planning to use the Garnet Marketplace, promising streamlined multi-channel sales. However, its most glaring weakness is the complete absence of user feedback, indicated by a 0/5 rating and zero reviews. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, on the other hand, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 109 reviews. This app, while sharing the "Selling online" category, appears to cater to a different need: facilitating store migration and importing data. While specific migration capabilities aren't listed in the description, the name clearly implies this function. The app's high rating suggests a reliable solution for merchants transferring their store data or importing product catalogs. The critical difference lies in their intended use. Garnet Seller is designed for marketplace integration (specifically Garnet Marketplace), whereas MP ‑ Store Migration & Import focuses on store migration and data import. The severe lack of feedback for Garnet Seller poses a significant risk, while MP ‑ Store Migration & Import offers a proven track record of positive user experiences.

Our Verdict
MP ‑ Store Migration & Import is the clear winner for merchants needing store migration or data import functionality. Its perfect rating and significant number of reviews instill confidence in its reliability and ease of use. Merchants considering this app can likely trust the positive feedback from other users.
Garnet Seller, while potentially useful for merchants deeply invested in the Garnet Marketplace, is a risky choice given its complete lack of user feedback. Unless a merchant is specifically committed to the Garnet Marketplace and willing to beta-test an unproven app, MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, or another similarly well-reviewed app, is the far safer and more rational choice.
