Gatsby: Convert Your Followers vs NOBYfor Shopify (2026)
Gatsby: Convert Your Followers and NOBY are both Shopify apps, but they cater to distinctly different needs and target audiences within the Giveaways and contests category. Gatsby focuses on leveraging social media, specifically Instagram, to grow email and SMS subscriber lists, enhance engagement, and manage ambassador programs. It positions itself as a tool for converting followers into loyal customers through automated campaigns, personalized marketing flows triggered by user-generated content (UGC) and social interactions, and integration with loyalty platforms. NOBY, on the other hand, centers around automating the process of offering free gifts or novelties (ノベルティ) to customers based on various purchase conditions. NOBY emphasizes a user-friendly, no-code interface tailored to the Japanese market, focusing on seamless integration with Japanese business practices and user experience. It allows merchants to define diverse conditions for novelty giveaways, manage inventory, and automatically add the novelty to the customer's cart. While both apps aim to enhance customer engagement and drive conversions, Gatsby leverages social media influence, while NOBY focuses on incentivizing purchases through automated free gift offerings. The absence of ratings or reviews for NOBY as of 2026 makes direct comparison of user satisfaction difficult.
