GD: Amazon Importer vs MP ‑ Store Migration & Importfor Shopify (2026)
GD: Amazon Importer and MP ‑ Store Migration & Import both fall under the "Selling online" and "Store data importer" Shopify categories but cater to distinct needs. GD: Amazon Importer is specifically positioned for merchants looking to source products from Amazon and easily add them to their Shopify store. Its strength lies in its streamlined Amazon product import process, focusing on ease of use and basic inventory management. The app clearly targets merchants comfortable with sourcing products from Amazon, understanding legal considerations like copyright, and handling their own order fulfillment. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, based on the limited information available, appears to be a more general-purpose store migration tool. MP ‑ Store Migration & Import, with significantly more reviews and a perfect rating, suggests a broader user base and potentially wider functionality beyond just Amazon product imports. The large number of reviews suggests it may be better established and more widely used than GD: Amazon Importer. Ultimately, the best choice hinges on the merchant's primary need: Amazon sourcing versus more general store migration capabilities.
