Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily concerned with preventing fraud, blocking malicious traffic, and securing their website, Geo IP Block/Redirect Supreme offers a targeted solution. However, the lack of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and ease of use. Merchants should thoroughly vet the app before implementation.
Conversely, for merchants focused on expanding their business internationally, optimizing the customer experience for global audiences, and facilitating international sales, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the clear choice. Its high rating, numerous positive reviews, and comprehensive localization features make it a strong contender for businesses seeking to tap into new markets and improve international customer satisfaction. Merchants seeking purely fraud protection tools may need to seek a solution outside of the geolocation/localization categories, however.
