Our Verdict
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the better choice for Shopify merchants actively participating in Shopify Markets or using Global-e Managed Markets and requiring a comprehensive solution for internationalization. Its features cater to creating localized experiences across multiple countries. IP2Location Redirector, on the other hand, is ideal for stores needing simple, IP-based redirection rules, especially for fixing 404 errors or serving different content to different regions without necessarily utilizing Shopify Markets. The vast difference in review count suggests that Selecty has gained significantly wider adoption and potentially offers a more proven solution, while IP2Location Redirector might be better for very specific and simpler redirection needs.
