Our Verdict
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the better choice for merchants deeply invested in Shopify Markets or Global-e Managed Markets who want to automate the process of directing customers to the correct regional store. Its geolocation-based redirects and currency/language selectors offer a streamlined user experience for international shoppers. Liquid Translator: Language AI is ideal for merchants who require granular control over content translation, especially those working with themes, emails, or custom sections that heavily rely on Liquid and HTML. It's especially useful where preventing code breakages due to faulty translation is critical. Given the lack of reviews for Liquid Translator: Language AI, merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app's functionality before committing to a paid plan, whereas the positive reviews for Geolocation & Markets—Selecty suggest a more reliable solution.
