Geolocation & Markets—Selecty vs Pro Geo Redirectfor Shopify (2026)
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty and Pro Geo Redirect both aim to improve the international customer experience on Shopify through geolocation features. However, they appear to target different segments of the market. Geolocation & Markets—Selecty positions itself as a comprehensive solution for merchants utilizing Shopify Markets and Global-e Managed Markets, providing a wide array of features to manage currency, language, and market redirection. It emphasizes manual control with selectors alongside automatic redirection. Its higher number of reviews indicates a more mature and widely adopted product. Pro Geo Redirect, on the other hand, based on the limited information available, likely offers a more streamlined and focused approach to geolocation redirection. The limited number of reviews suggests it may be newer or target a niche within the broader geolocation app market. Selecty offers more granular control for customers to switch markets using selectors while Pro Geo Redirect's description suggests a more direct redirect approach.

Our Verdict
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty appears to be the superior choice for merchants heavily invested in Shopify Markets and Global-e Managed Markets who require a comprehensive suite of tools to manage their international presence, including currency, language, and market selection. The higher number of reviews also suggests greater reliability and customer satisfaction. Pro Geo Redirect, lacking detailed feature information, might be suitable for smaller merchants or those just beginning to explore geolocation targeting, or those seeking only basic redirection functionality, but comes with less user feedback.
