Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants targeting a broad, global audience and seeking to automatically guide customers to relevant markets based on their location and language, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the stronger choice. Its focus on geolocation, currency conversion, and language selection provides a comprehensive solution for international sales. However, if a merchant's primary target market consists of Hebrew or Arabic speakers, RTL Master is the clear winner. Its RTL layout support, specialized fonts, and Hebrew/Arabic translation tools offer a niche solution tailored to that specific audience. RTL Master removes the need for multiple apps for RTL support when focusing on Arabic or Hebrew speaking customers.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a multilingual store targeting both English and Arabic speakers?
While Selecty handles multiple languages, RTL Master specifically provides RTL (right-to-left) layout support and fonts crucial for Arabic. A combination of both apps, or a single more comprehensive app if one exists in 2026, might be the best solution. RTL Master is specifically designed for Arabic/Hebrew while Selecty is for a more general audience.
Does Geolocation & Markets—Selecty support right-to-left languages like Arabic?
The app description doesn't explicitly mention RTL support, its focus seems to be on general language selection and market redirection. Therefore, it's not guaranteed to properly handle RTL languages. Further research or contacting the developer is recommended.
Can RTL Master be used to translate my store to other languages besides Hebrew and Arabic?
The description primarily focuses on Hebrew and Arabic translations. While it may offer translation features for other languages, its core value proposition revolves around RTL layout and fonts for Hebrew and Arabic. So the features and support for other languages is likely not as mature.
Which app is easier to set up and use for a non-technical user?
Both apps claim to offer easy setup. Selecty promises automated market redirection and language selection, which suggests a streamlined experience. RTL Master claims one-click translation and RTL setup, implying similar ease of use. The best choice will depend on the specific needs of the merchant and their desired level of customization. With 262 reviews, Selecty could be considered more tested than RTL Master with 50 reviews.
If I already have a Shopify Markets setup, which app integrates better?
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty explicitly mentions integration with Shopify Markets, making it the more suitable option for merchants already utilizing that feature.
