Geolocation & Markets—Selecty vs StoreLock Copyright Protectionfor Shopify (2026)
Geolocation & Markets—Selecty and StoreLock Copyright Protection are both Shopify apps with 5/5 ratings, yet cater to vastly different needs. Geolocation & Markets—Selecty focuses on international expansion and customer localization. Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing international expansion and optimizing the customer experience for different geographic regions, Geolocation & Markets—Selecty is the clear choice. Its features directly address the challenges of selling in multiple markets and adapting the storefront to local preferences. However, for merchants deeply concerned about brand protection, copyright infringement, and the potential for customer scams, StoreLock Copyright Protection offers a proactive solution. While StoreLock has significantly fewer reviews at the moment, its focus on a critical aspect of brand security may make it a worthwhile investment, particularly for brands with a high risk of counterfeiting or intellectual property theft. Smaller stores with limited budget might find StoreLock not as important as the functionality that Selecty provides in increasing sales.
