Geolocation Orbe vs Webrex ‑ Currency Converterfor Shopify (2026)
Geolocation Orbe and Webrex - Currency Converter are both Shopify apps catering to merchants aiming to expand globally through geolocation and currency/language adjustments. Geolocation Orbe focuses specifically on using geolocation to redirect customers to the appropriate version of a store based on their location and browser language, offering integration with Shopify Markets and Global-e. It emphasizes a customizable geolocation popup and country selector for a branded experience. Our Verdict
For merchants deeply invested in Shopify Markets and Global-e, prioritizing a seamless and branded geolocation redirection experience with customizable popups and maintaining marketing attribution, Geolocation Orbe is the better choice. Its focus on integrating directly with the Shopify Markets ecosystem makes it ideal for this specific use case.
However, if the merchant requires a broader currency conversion and language selection solution that works well with both Shopify Market and non-Shopify Market countries, including advanced settings for non-Market regions, and supports various payment gateways beyond Shopify Payments, then Webrex - Currency Converter is the more suitable option. Webrex offers more versatility and caters to a wider range of internationalization scenarios.
