Our Verdict
The choice between Geo‑Target IP Banner and SwiftRate ‑ Currency Converter depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant wants to display different content based on the visitor's country, such as specific shipping policies or promotions, Geo‑Target IP Banner is the appropriate choice. The support for both Vintage and 2.0 themes is a plus. However, the low number of reviews is a risk. On the other hand, if the primary goal is to increase international sales by showing prices in local currencies and building trust, SwiftRate ‑ Currency Converter is the better option. The lower rating and larger number of reviews suggests the experience may vary widely, so careful evaluation and monitoring after installation is highly recommended. It addresses pricing transparency, a crucial aspect for international customers.
