Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a straightforward solution for displaying product images through a slider, GG Product Page Image Slider is probably a good fit. Its strength lies in its simplicity and ease of implementation. However, for merchants that want to offer a visually rich and highly customized product experience, specifically around variants, Variant Image Wizard + Swatch is the superior choice. It has a higher number of reviews and the additional features, such as customizable swatches, multiple images per variant, product grouping, and support for video and 3D models, provide substantial value for stores with intricate product offerings and a strong focus on brand representation.
Ultimately, if simplicity and speed of implementation are paramount, choose GG. But if the goal is to boost conversion rates through advanced variant presentation and product page customization, Variant Image Wizard + Swatch is the recommended option despite the potential increase in setup time.
