Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks vs RevUp: Cart Upsell & Free Giftfor Shopify (2026)
Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks and RevUp: Cart Upsell & Free Gift both operate within the Upsell and Bundles category on Shopify, aiming to increase Average Order Value (AOV). However, they differ significantly in their approach and current standing. Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks focuses primarily on incentivizing larger purchases through quantity breaks, allowing merchants to offer discounts based on the number of items purchased. RevUp, on the other hand, takes a broader approach, leveraging AI to provide product recommendations, free gifts, and various upsell offers throughout the shopping journey. The most significant difference currently lies in user feedback. Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 16 reviews, indicating strong user satisfaction. RevUp, in contrast, has no ratings or reviews, making it difficult to gauge its usability and effectiveness. While RevUp promises features like customizable widgets, cart progress bars, and a floating add-to-cart bar, its actual performance and ease of implementation remain unknown. Therefore, merchants should proceed with caution with RevUp, acknowledging that it's an untested product with potentially higher risks.

Our Verdict
At this point in 2026, Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks is the safer choice for merchants seeking to implement quantity-based discounts due to its proven track record of positive user experiences. The high rating and existing reviews provide confidence in its functionality and ease of use. RevUp: Cart Upsell & Free Gift, while promising a more comprehensive upsell strategy, is currently an unknown entity.
For merchants willing to take a risk on a potentially powerful, albeit untested, app, RevUp might be worth exploring. However, be prepared to dedicate time to testing and providing feedback to the developers. If reliability and immediate results are paramount, Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks is the better option.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Given the lack of reviews for RevUp, it's difficult to say definitively. However, the positive reviews for Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks suggest a relatively straightforward setup process. RevUp's more complex features (AI recommendations, etc.) could potentially mean a steeper learning curve.
Which app is better for increasing AOV?
Both apps aim to increase AOV, but through different strategies. RevUp has a broader approach, with AI-driven recommendations and free gifts, but its effectiveness is unproven. Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks targets AOV by encouraging larger orders through discounts, which is a more direct, predictable approach.
Which app provides more customization options?
Based on the descriptions, RevUp seems to offer more extensive customization options, including customizable widgets and popups. Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks doesn't explicitly mention customization options.
Which app requires more ongoing management?
RevUp likely requires more ongoing management due to its AI-driven features and the need to monitor and optimize product recommendations. Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks likely requires less management after the initial quantity break rules are set up.
If I only want simple quantity discounts, which app is better?
Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks is the better choice if you only need basic quantity discounts. RevUp offers a wider range of upsell strategies, which may be unnecessary if you just want quantity discounts.
