Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks vs Smart Suggest Pro by Essenifyfor Shopify (2026)
Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks and Smart Suggest Pro by Essenify, while both categorized under 'Upsell and bundles - Other' on the Shopify app store, cater to distinct upselling strategies. Ghost Bundles focuses on volume discounts and encouraging larger purchases through quantity breaks. Smart Suggest Pro, on the other hand, centers on personalized product recommendations driven by customer behavior, aiming to increase AOV by presenting relevant items. The primary difference lies in their approach: Ghost Bundles offers a direct pricing incentive, while Smart Suggest Pro relies on intelligent product suggestions to nudge customers toward additional purchases. Ghost Bundles, evidenced by its perfect 5/5 rating and 16 reviews, currently holds a much more established position, indicating existing user satisfaction. Smart Suggest Pro, lacking both rating and reviews, is comparatively nascent and its effectiveness remains unproven based on available data. Given its feature set, Smart Suggest Pro is likely aimed at merchants with established customer data looking to implement data-driven personalization, whereas Ghost Bundles could appeal to any merchant, regardless of customer data maturity, aiming to incentivize bulk purchases.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a proven solution to encourage larger order sizes through quantity discounts, Ghost Bundles Quantity Breaks is the safer choice. Its existing positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective app. However, for merchants already collecting substantial customer behavior data and seeking a personalized recommendation engine to boost AOV, Smart Suggest Pro by Essenify *might* be a viable option, but its lack of reviews means there's a significant element of risk and early adoption involved. A merchant should proceed with caution and be prepared to thoroughly test and monitor its performance.
If a merchant is risk-averse and looking for a quick and straightforward upselling solution, Ghost Bundles is the better option. If they have dedicated resources to test new apps and believe in the potential of personalized recommendations, and they have substantial customer data to leverage, Smart Suggest Pro could be considered, but with the understanding that its efficacy is currently unproven.
