Giveaway Gator vs Mystery Box ‑ More Salesfor Shopify (2026)
Giveaway Gator and Mystery Box ‑ More Sales both reside within the 'Giveaways and Contests' category on the Shopify app store, but appear to target different aspects of promotional sales. Giveaway Gator positions itself as a comprehensive giveaway and sweepstakes management tool, emphasizing automation, bonus entries, and multiple concurrent promotions. Its features are tailored towards merchants seeking to increase AOV and customer engagement through structured, incentivized contests tied directly to purchase behavior. Mystery Box ‑ More Sales, with its extremely low rating and limited reviews, lacks a detailed description to infer its functionality beyond its name. It likely focuses on generating excitement and impulse purchases through the mystery box concept, but its actual capabilities and effectiveness are difficult to ascertain. Given the significant disparities in ratings and review counts, Giveaway Gator appears the stronger option for merchants seeking a reliable giveaway solution, while Mystery Box ‑ More Sales presents a higher risk due to negative user feedback. In short, Giveaway Gator offers a structured giveaway management system for merchants looking to run sophisticated promotions. Mystery Box, based solely on the information available, appears to offer a less-defined feature, potentially focused on a single-use-case sales driver.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a robust and automated solution for managing giveaways and sweepstakes, Giveaway Gator appears to be the more reliable choice. Its features, such as multiple giveaway management, bonus entries, and integration with Shopify Flow, offer a comprehensive approach to incentivizing purchases and increasing customer engagement. The 5/5 rating, despite only one review, provides more confidence than Mystery Box's 1/5 rating with three reviews.
Mystery Box ‑ More Sales might appeal to merchants interested in experimenting with the mystery box concept to generate quick sales, but the low rating raises significant concerns about its functionality and user experience. Due to the lack of detailed information and the extremely negative feedback, it is difficult to recommend this app without further investigation.
