Giveaway Gator vs Prizo – Upsell & Loyalty Gamesfor Shopify (2026)
Giveaway Gator and Prizo – Upsell & Loyalty Games both aim to enhance the customer experience and boost sales through gamified promotions on Shopify, but they approach it from different angles. Giveaway Gator focuses on traditional sweepstakes and giveaways, offering tools for managing complex entry systems with multipliers, bonus entries tied to specific products or order tags, and discount codes. This targets merchants looking for structured, automated giveaway campaigns to build their email list and drive sales via clearly defined incentive programs. Prizo – Upsell & Loyalty Games, on the other hand, offers more versatile and easily deployed interactive mini-games like Spin the Wheel or Scratch Cards. Its strength lies in the ability to embed these games across the entire customer journey, pre- or post-purchase, with AI-powered customization for branding and automated reward emails. This positions Prizo for merchants who want engaging, instantly rewarding experiences to increase conversions, average order value, and customer loyalty. It caters to a more general audience seeking to add playful interactions throughout their store. Both apps currently share the same problem: extremely limited user reviews (only one for each app). This makes it difficult to truly assess their reliability and user-friendliness based on social proof alone. In 2026, the number of reviews will be crucial for making a more informed decision.
