Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with optimizing pricing, running sales promotions, and managing their product catalog's pricing structure, GJ Bulk Price Editor is the clear choice. Its features for filtering products, adjusting prices in bulk, and scheduling updates provide direct control over pricing strategies. However, merchants seeking to enhance their marketing automation, personalize customer experiences, and segment their customer base based on behavior will find SC Customer Tagging more valuable. Its automated tagging system facilitates targeted marketing campaigns and allows for creating customized customer journeys.
While both apps fall under the broader category of 'Bulk Editor', they address different needs. If you need to quickly update pricing across your product lines, GJ Bulk Price Editor is superior. If you are seeking to improve marketing ROI via highly targeted campaigns triggered by customer behavior, SC Customer Tagging is the better option. A merchant could, conceivably, benefit from both, using GJ Bulk Price Editor for product-level pricing strategies and SC Customer Tagging for customer-level marketing automation.
