Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing easy-to-create, customizable video banners and sliders using their own video assets, Glider: Clickable Video Slider offers a streamlined solution within the Shopify Customizer. However, the low review count is a risk. Conversely, Sclips Shoppable Videos Reels is ideal for brands aiming to leverage user-generated content (UGC) from platforms like TikTok and Instagram, create shoppable video experiences, and closely track performance with in-depth analytics. Its focus on CRO and sales makes it attractive for data-driven merchants willing to invest in a more premium video commerce approach. Considering the higher rating and significantly more reviews, Sclips appears to be the more established and trusted option in 2026.
