GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom vs Moast Shoppable Videos & UGCfor Shopify (2026)
GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom and Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC cater to different aspects of visual merchandising on Shopify in 2026. GO focuses on highly customizable image galleries, offering features like carousel, thumbnails, zoom functionalities, and mobile/desktop configuration. This positions it as an app for merchants who want granular control over how their product images are displayed and manipulated on the product page to improve the customer experience. On the other hand, Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC centers around the integration of videos and user-generated content (UGC) into the shopping experience, turning engaging content into direct sales opportunities. The primary difference lies in the media type and focus. GO is image-centric, providing enhancement tools to existing product imagery. Moast is video and UGC-centric, allowing merchants to showcase products in action through video testimonials, tutorials, and customer-created content. In 2026, this means GO is better for stores with large, high-quality image libraries, and Moast is geared towards stores that can leverage video assets and social proof through user-generated content.

Our Verdict
Based on the data from 2026, Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC appears to be the stronger contender given its perfect 5/5 rating and higher number of reviews, indicating greater user satisfaction and adoption. It's ideally suited for merchants already invested in video marketing or those actively seeking to build social proof through UGC. This app focuses on high conversion through videos.
GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom, while offering a potentially high level of customization, is hampered by its 0/5 rating, raising concerns about its usability and potential issues. It may suit merchants with unique product image requirements and who are willing to invest time in configuring a highly tailored gallery experience, however in 2026, given the negative reviews, most merchants should proceed with extreme caution or look for alternative apps with more positive feedback.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the information available and the complexity implied by the features, Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC is likely easier to set up, as it focuses on integrating existing video content. GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom offers extensive customization, which may require more configuration time and technical expertise.
Which app is better for improving mobile conversions?
GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom explicitly states it offers dedicated mobile configuration, suggesting a tailored mobile experience. Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC doesn't explicitly mention it, but should be responsive in 2026. If dedicated mobile control is important, GO is the better choice, if it didn't have a zero star rating. Given that, there may be issues with the app regardless of its specific features.
Which app is more suitable for showcasing product features in detail?
GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom, with its zoom and layout customization, allows shoppers to carefully examine product images, thus helping communicate product features visually. While Moast may showcase product features in the video, the key would be showcasing the benefits in the video content.
Which app is better for building trust and social proof?
Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC, by leveraging user-generated content, directly contributes to building trust and social proof. Shoppers are more likely to trust authentic experiences shared by other customers, showcased in videos, than standard product photos.
Which app is more likely to increase brand awareness?
Both can increase brand awareness in their own way. Moast does so through compelling video content that users share and engage with, but GO can do so through presentation of products in high definition that customers can clearly see and share with friends.
