GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom and ReelUp-Shoppable Videos+ Reels both aim to enhance the visual presentation of products on Shopify stores, but they cater to different aspects of product imagery and serve distinct purposes. GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom focuses on providing deep customization of static product image galleries, offering features like various layouts, zoom capabilities, and mobile/desktop configuration. It targets merchants who want granular control over how their product photos are displayed. In contrast, ReelUp-Shoppable Videos+ Reels centers around incorporating short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels) into the shopping experience, making products more engaging and shoppable through video content. The core difference lies in the media type emphasized. GO deals with still images and their presentation, while ReelUp focuses on video content. The choice between the two depends on the merchant's strategy: those prioritizing high-quality, meticulously arranged product photography might lean towards GO, whereas those embracing video marketing and user-generated content could prefer ReelUp. The significant disparity in ratings and reviews should also be a major consideration for any merchant deciding between the two apps.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary goal is to showcase high-quality product photography in a visually appealing and customizable manner, GO Product Page Gallery + Zoom *could* be an option, assuming the low rating is addressed with updates and improved user experience. However, the 0/5 rating with only 50 reviews is a significant red flag. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate the cause of the low rating before considering it.
For merchants focused on leveraging the power of video content, particularly short-form videos from platforms like TikTok and Instagram, ReelUp-Shoppable Videos+ Reels appears to be the stronger choice, especially considering its excellent 5/5 rating and significantly higher number of reviews. It's well-suited for brands that want to increase engagement, showcase user-generated content, and create a TikTok-like shopping experience. The fact that it is GT-Metrix tested is a great bonus as well. ReelUp is the preferred option due to current data.
