Our Verdict
Google Reviews by Appio is ideal for businesses that already have a strong presence and positive reviews on Google Maps and want to easily showcase that reputation on their Shopify store. Its Google Business Profile integration is a significant advantage for brick-and-mortar businesses. Reviews Junction is a better fit for businesses that need a complete product review solution to actively gather and manage customer feedback, especially when looking to collect photo and video testimonials and foster customer interaction with Q&A features. While Reviews Junction has slightly more reviews and a perfect rating, the specific needs of the merchant regarding Google reviews versus internal review generation should be the deciding factor.
