Google Reviews by Elfsight vs Review Collect by Scalyfor Shopify (2026)
Google Reviews by Elfsight focuses on showcasing existing Google reviews on your Shopify store, leveraging the credibility of Google's review platform. Its core strength lies in its ability to embed detailed reviews, including author information and links, and to filter them for optimal presentation. It targets merchants seeking to capitalize on their established positive Google presence to build trust and drive conversions. Review Collect by Scaly, while sharing the 'Product reviews' category, lacks feature details, making a direct comparison challenging. The app's focus and mechanisms for acquiring or managing reviews is unclear based on the available information, which makes it harder to place for a specific audience.

Our Verdict
For merchants with a strong base of positive Google reviews and who want to directly showcase that credibility on their website, Google Reviews by Elfsight is the clear choice. Its specific features for embedding, filtering, and linking to Google reviews provide tangible benefits. Review Collect by Scaly, while having a slightly higher rating and more reviews, lacks feature clarity. Until more details are available about its functionality and review sources, it's difficult to recommend it over Elfsight, especially for businesses specifically wanting to display Google reviews.
