Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on building trust and showcasing existing positive reviews to boost conversion rates, Google Reviews by Reputon is the clear choice. Its comprehensive features, high rating, and extensive user base suggest a well-developed and reliable solution. On the other hand, if a merchant's strategy heavily relies on TikTok and video marketing, and they aim to engage visitors with visually appealing content, Juniper ‑ TikTok Feed is the better option. Ultimately, the best app depends on the specific social proof strategy the merchant is implementing.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a local business with multiple locations?
Google Reviews by Reputon is better suited for local businesses with multiple locations because it supports showcasing Google reviews from each location and includes a store locator feature.
Which app is easier to set up and use for a beginner?
Without specific details on ease of use, it is difficult to say definitively. However, if the merchant is already actively creating content on TikTok, Juniper ‑ TikTok Feed may be easier to set up, as it would involve connecting the app to their existing TikTok account. Reputon requires integration with the Google API.
Does either app help generate more social proof content?
Google Reviews by Reputon has a feature to ask for reviews after checkout, which can help generate more Google reviews. Juniper - TikTok Feed assumes you already have TikTok content. It does not generate content itself.
Which app is more suitable for a brand that is just starting out with social media?
Neither app is inherently better for a brand starting out with social media. However, if they are planning to focus on Google SEO and review collection, Reputon is a better choice. If they are investing in short form video and building a TikTok presence, Juniper - TikTok Feed will be more appropriate.
Which app requires more technical expertise to implement?
Google Reviews by Reputon might require slightly more technical expertise due to the Google API integration. This integration could present more challenges than simply embedding a TikTok feed, which Juniper offers.
