Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to leverage existing positive Google reviews to build trust and improve Google Ads performance, Google Reviews Trust Badges HP is the superior choice. Its focus on managing, displaying, and translating Google reviews provides a comprehensive solution for showcasing social proof. However, if the primary goal is to engage users with visually appealing video content from TikTok and Instagram, particularly user-generated content, then ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels is the more appropriate option. Its video-centric approach and focus on keeping users on the store make it ideal for businesses targeting a younger, visually-oriented audience. While ReelUp boasts a perfect rating, the slightly lower rating of Google Reviews Trust Badges HP is based on slightly fewer reviews, which shouldn't necessarily dissuade merchants given its focused functionality. Ultimately, the better app depends heavily on the merchant's specific marketing strategy and target audience.
