Gooten: Print on Demand vs Inkedjoy ‑ Print On Demandfor Shopify (2026)
Gooten: Print on Demand and Inkedjoy - Print On Demand both cater to merchants seeking print-on-demand sourcing options on Shopify, but they differ significantly in their approach and target audience. Gooten positions itself as a scalable, enterprise-level solution, emphasizing its Shopify Plus certification, extensive product catalog (300+), globally distributed fulfillment network, and dedicated account services. It seems geared towards businesses aiming for high-volume sales and expansion into new markets. Inkedjoy, on the other hand, focuses on ease of use, affordable pricing, and custom branding, particularly for fashion items. Its larger product catalog (1,500+) and emphasis on 'budget-friendly POD items' suggests a focus on accessibility and smaller businesses or individuals looking to launch a branded product line quickly. A crucial difference lies in customer satisfaction as reflected in their ratings. Gooten currently has a concerning 0/5 rating with 138 reviews, indicating potentially significant issues with the app. Inkedjoy, in contrast, boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 107 reviews, suggesting a much more positive user experience. This disparity likely influences merchant trust and decision-making. Furthermore, the emphasis on 'tailored business solutions & around the clock support' from Gooten contrasts with Inkedjoy's focus on simple design tools and custom branding without minimum order quantities, highlighting different levels of support and flexibility offered by each app.

Our Verdict
Based on the provided data, Inkedjoy appears to be the safer and more suitable option for most Shopify merchants, particularly those starting out or focusing on branding and smaller order volumes. The perfect 5/5 rating signals a positive user experience. Gooten's 0/5 rating raises significant concerns and suggests potential issues with the app's functionality or customer support. Despite its claims of scalability and enterprise-level solutions, the negative reviews should give merchants pause.
However, if a business absolutely requires a globally distributed fulfillment network and prioritizes dedicated account management despite the current negative feedback, Gooten might be considered. It would be prudent to thoroughly investigate the source of the negative reviews and any recent improvements or changes to the app before committing. For the vast majority of Shopify merchants, Inkedjoy's combination of affordability, ease of use, a large product selection, and positive reviews makes it the stronger choice.
Common Questions
