Our Verdict
Gorgias is the clear choice for merchants needing a robust, all-in-one helpdesk solution with extensive features for managing customer support across numerous channels. Its lower rating is balanced by the significantly higher number of reviews, indicating broader adoption and a longer track record. Relocate+ Order Editor is ideal for businesses struggling with order errors and returns and are looking to reduce support volume by empowering customers to make simple changes themselves. While its perfect rating is appealing, the low review count suggests it's a newer or niche app. If your priority is proactive order management and self-service, Relocate+ is a valuable tool. If your focus is general customer service management across all inquiries, then Gorgias is preferable.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Relocate+ Order Editor is likely easier to set up because it addresses a specific problem with a clear set of rules. Gorgias, being a comprehensive platform, might require more time to configure and train staff on.
Which app is better for reducing customer support ticket volume?
Relocate+ Order Editor directly addresses ticket volume by allowing customers to resolve simple order issues themselves, reducing the need to contact support. Gorgias can also reduce ticket volume through FAQs and automated responses, but its core focus is efficient agent-based support.
Which app is more scalable for a rapidly growing business?
Gorgias is designed for scalability, as it can handle a large volume of customer inquiries across multiple channels. Relocate+ Order Editor's scalability is limited to its specific function of order editing.
Which app offers a more comprehensive customer service solution?
Gorgias provides a more comprehensive customer service solution, covering all aspects of customer interaction, from initial contact to resolution. Relocate+ Order Editor is focused on order editing specifically.
Are there any areas where the two apps overlap in functionality?
Both apps can contribute to customer satisfaction and potentially reduce support workload, but their primary functions are distinct. One directly resolves order issues while the other facilitates communication and resolution across various issues. They might integrate eventually but without that specification, they are distinct.
