GP ‑ Wishlist & Upsell Suite vs Omakase.ai | Voice AI Agentfor Shopify (2026)
GP ‑ Wishlist & Upsell Suite and Omakase.ai | Voice AI Agent represent fundamentally different approaches to enhancing a Shopify store in 2026. GP ‑ Wishlist & Upsell Suite appears to focus on traditional e-commerce strategies, leveraging wishlists and upsells to increase sales. Its strength lies in offering established features for product visibility and cross-selling. The very limited number of reviews suggests it might be suitable for smaller stores or those just starting out with these types of features. Omakase.ai, on the other hand, positions itself as a cutting-edge solution utilizing AI-powered voice interaction. It aims to provide a more personalized and interactive shopping experience. Omakase.ai's value proposition revolves around automating personalized customer service and potentially reducing support costs. However, the absence of positive ratings and low review count indicates it might be a riskier choice, potentially due to implementation challenges or unfulfilled promises, or it could simply be a very new app with limited adoption.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a proven and relatively simple way to implement wishlists and upsells, GP ‑ Wishlist & Upsell Suite is likely the safer choice, given its positive rating, albeit based on a small sample size. It provides familiar tools for increasing sales within the traditional e-commerce framework.
However, merchants willing to take a risk on innovative technology and explore the potential of AI-driven customer engagement might find Omakase.ai intriguing. The caveat is that the lack of positive reviews should prompt caution and thorough due diligence. It might be best suited for larger businesses that can afford to experiment and potentially dedicate resources to troubleshoot any issues arising from the AI agent implementation.
