Gro Multi Store Sync vs Stockistly ‑ Inventory Syncfor Shopify (2026)
Gro Multi Store Sync and Stockistly ‑ Inventory Sync are both inventory management apps for Shopify, but they target different merchant profiles and have vastly different levels of validation. Gro Multi Store Sync focuses on real-time, bi-directional synchronization across multiple Shopify stores, ideal for merchants expanding into wholesale, international, or specialized markets. It highlights real-time auditing and granular customization. In contrast, Stockistly emphasizes syncing inventory data from external suppliers (dropshippers, warehouses, wholesalers) through various formats, including CSV, XML, API, and Google Sheets. The primary difference lies in the source of inventory data and the complexity of store relationships. Gro Multi Store Sync is designed for merchants already managing multiple Shopify stores and needing them to talk to each other. Stockistly is aimed at merchants sourcing products from external suppliers and wanting automated inventory updates. Critically, Stockistly has a perfect rating with several reviews, providing evidence of its value and reliability, whereas Gro Multi Store Sync currently has no reviews, which raises concerns about its usability and functionality.

Our Verdict
Based on available data, Stockistly is currently the safer choice for merchants needing to synchronize inventory from external suppliers due to its perfect rating and established user base. Its focus on flexibility with data formats and helpful support is also compelling. Merchants who specifically need to synchronize inventory in real-time between multiple Shopify stores should proceed with extreme caution with Gro Multi Store Sync until more user reviews become available. The lack of reviews makes it impossible to ascertain its reliability and effectiveness. It may be a better strategy to explore alternatives to Gro Multi Store Sync until it can build a reputation.
